NIESV Head of Firm Forum Osun State Branch celebrates Outstanding Achievements at the End of the Year Programme

NIESV Head of Firm Forum Osun State Branch held its end-of-year party and awards ceremony at the Branch Secretariat in Osogbo.

In his welcome address, ESV S.A. Adewuyi, Chairman of the NIESV Osun Heads of Firmʼs Forum, Osun State Branch, commended the Osun State Government for its support and recognition of the institution. He particularly acknowledged the appointment of ESV (Prince ) Kunle Adedoye as Special Assistant to the Governor on Housing and the passage of the Osun State Estate Agency Regulatory Authority Bill

The event featured presentation of awards ceremony, where recognition awards were presented to deserving government officials and experts in the field of estate surveying and valuation. ESV Ademola Otitoola, an erudite scholar and seasoned estate surveyor and valuer, delivered a lecture on the topic "Towards Attaining Excellence in Estate Surveying and Valuation Professional Practice."

The NIESV Osun branch Heads of Firms' Forum, Secretary, ESV. Damilare Olabiyi also presented its annual report, highlighting significant accomplishments in 2024. The report showcased the Branch's growth and contributions to the state's development, including the re-inauguration and growth of the NIESV Head of Firm Forum from 13 to nearly 45 firms.

In his remarks, ESV Adekunle Adedoye, Chairman of the NIESV Osun State Branch, called for unity and collaboration among members of the Branch. He emphasized the importance of job creation and collaboration, expressing appreciation to the current government of Osun State, led by His Excellency Asiwaju Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, the Executive Governor of Osun State, for partnering with the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers, Osun State.

ESV Adedoye encouraged the noble colleagues to relax and enjoy themselves as the end-of-year party began, thanking them for their attendance and wishing them a blessed evening.

The event was attended by dignitaries, including the Hon. Commissioner for Special Duties and Regional Integration, the Hon. Commissioner for Lands and Physical Planning, and the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Works.

The NIESV Osun State Branch has demonstrated significant growth and contributions to the state's development in 2024. The Branch's commitment to excellence, advocacy, and partnerships has positioned it as a key player in the state's real estate sector.

NIESV Head of Firm Forum Achievements. 

Some of the notable achievements of the   NIESV Head of Firm Forum Achievements  in 2024 include:

- Re-inauguration and growth of the NIESV Head of Firm Forum from 13 to nearly 45 firms.

- Advocacy and partnerships with the state government on projects such as the Osogbo Old Garage - Lameco Road Dualization Project and the Ilesa Owa's Palace - Okesha - Imo - Brewery - Akure Junction Road Dualization Project.

- Inauguration of five committees to handle various responsibilities, including Rules & Regulations, Project Sourcing/Statute & Govt Relations, Project Implementation, Project Proceeds Sharing, and Forum Disciplinary Committee.
