OSUN FIRST LADY GRACES CHIEFTAINCY INSTALLATION OF PDP WOMEN LEADER, ALICE OTUNLA
The First Lady of Osun State, Chief Mrs. Titilola Adebusola Adeleke, was in attendance at the chieftaincy installation of Chief Mrs. Alice Otunla, the Osun State PDP Women Leader, as the Aare Iyalaje of Ara.
The event, which took place in Ara town, Egbedore Local Government Area of Osun State, was part of the activities marking the 5th year coronation ceremony of His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Olubayo Adesola Windapo, the Alara of Ara.
Chief Mrs. Alice Otunla was honored with the prestigious title of Aare Iyalaje of Ara in recognition of her sterling contributions to the growth and development of Ara kingdom and Osun State at large.
The First Lady's presence at the event was a testament to the high esteem in which Chief Mrs. Otunla is held. Chief Mrs. Adeleke was joined by other distinguished guests, including the PDP State Working Committee led by Hon. Sunday Bisi.
Other notable guests in attendance included Hon. Bayo Ogungbangbe, Hon. Ayodele Grace Oluwaseyi, Special Adviser to the Governor on Home Grown School Feeding, and Chief (Mrs.) Mary Oyebode, Iyaloja General of Osun State.
The installation ceremony was a colorful display of Ara kingdom's rich cultural heritage, with traditional music, dance, and attire on full display.
In her remarks, Chief Mrs. Adeleke praised Chief Mrs. Otunla for her dedication to public service and her tireless efforts to promote the development of Ara kingdom and Osun State.
Chief Mrs. Otunla, in her response, thanked the Alara of Ara and the people of Ara kingdom for the honor bestowed upon her. She pledged to continue working tirelessly for the progress and prosperity of Ara kingdom and Osun State.
