By ISAAC OLUSESI

Dr Thomas Olaleye Ogungbangbe has said that it would be double victory for the rule of law, getting the reinstated Osun State local government elected officers physically back in office and entitled to back pay, benefits denied and other privileges, rights, violated, during removal, to drive home transparency and justice
He stated this while reacting to the stand of the forum of the elders of the state All Progressive Congress (APC) on the court ruling on the reinstatement of the constitutionally elected local government chiefs.

The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CITA ENERGIES expressed support for the earlier position of the former governor of the state and now Hon. Minister of Marine & Blue Economy, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, CON, on the use of security to enforce the decision of the appellate court, and declared the stance as best, energizing the party Elders' Caucus _Igbimo Agba_ to fight to the finish for the return of the reinstated elected officers to office.

The party's Elders Caucus had on the weekend, resolved to bring the matter to closure and finality, to allow the party move forward.

Ogungbangbe, a chieftain of APC from Osun East Senatorial District described the decision by the Elders' Caucus of the party in the state to pursue, to the letter, the reinstatement of the elected council officers who were illegally sacked, as essential to maintaining the social order and political stability of the state, with public trust in the judiciary for enhancement, saying, "the resolve of the elders would reinforce the integrity of the legal system and those accountable for the initial removal of the council chiefs, held for it."

Feelers from the party in the state indicate that the Elders' Caucus meeting on the court ruling would increase motivation and enthusiasm in the party, potentially to lead to greater unity and stability of the party.

"I think that's the ultimate aim of the party's Elders' Caucus, by its charge to the party leaders and members to maintain regular position in the party, with urgings to present united front and work together to enhance credibility among voters and return the party to power," said, the scion of the Ajagbusi Ekun Royal Dynasty of Iloko Ijesa in Oriade local government council area of Osun.
