Ogungbangbe celebrates global Muslims, calls for renewed loyalty to the party, government and democracy

Dr. Thomas Ogungbangbe, a chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) from Osun East Senatorial District of the state has extended heartfelt felicitations to the global Muslim on the festivities of Eid-al-Fitr, sharing in the joy and positivity of the auspicious occasion with Muslims and non- Muslims in Nigeria, particularly in Osun and the Ife-Ijesa axis of the state.
In a statement released today by the Dr. Thomas Ogungbangbe MEDIA & PUBLICITY TRUST (mpt), the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CITA Energies joined also the party leadership, members and supporters, of different faith backgrounds as this year's Ramadan fast ends.
Prince Ogungbangbe stressed the significance of Ramadan as a period of spiritual renewal, self-discipline and commitment to faith and service. He underscored patience, perseverance and unity in the holy month as core values, which he said, depict the progressive ideals of APC.
According to the statement, "as we mark the conclusion of this sacred month, let us reflect on the virtues of sacrifice, compassion and resilience that Ramadan teaches. These virtues must guide our actions and relationships as members of a party and generally, the governed, committed to the people-centered governance and national development," Ogungbangbe said, calling for a renewed sense of loyalty to the party, government and democratic excellence for increased benefits.
Hear him further: “This festive season presents a moment for introspection on the ideals that define us as progressive, with a charge to all to work tirelessly and ensure that the dividends of democracy reach every citizen of this great nation in the spirit of Ramadan's responsibility to the less privileged."
Reaffirming his confidence in the strength of APC and unity of Nigeria, the scion of the Ajagbusi Ekun Royal Dynasty of Iloko Ijesa in Oriade local government council area of Osun described the governing party as a catalyst for national transformation for growth and development.
He called on all to exemplify the selflessness of Ramadan and prayed prosperity for nationals and non-nationals alike, and peace to the world, saying _Eid Mubarak._
