Burial: Osun East Women Declare For Ogungbangbe As He Entombs Auntie
By ISAAC OLUSESI
The departed loved one, Mama Juliana Ibidun Ajewole-Ifaloye was a dream wife of her husband, the Late Chief Ajewole Ifaloye of the Ajewole Motors, prominent, influential and esteemed in the motor and mobility industry.
With Amazon-like strength, she was said to have always stood by her husband's side, yet occasionally chose to walk among the less privileged, the act portrayed her modesty and humility until the curtain finally fell, the point at which she handed the baton to death. Her passing leaves a void.
OLUSESI, from his prime spot at the funeral ceremonies, punched the keyboard away, and eavesdropped on some men and women, discussing death as the final departure point that permits no dead body to rehearse life, no matter the logic or explanations offered by the living.
And suddenly, some groups of people, all women moved swiftly around and passionately appealed to all, not anyone, in particular: "Prince Ogungbangbe is highly deserving of the representation of our Osun East Senatorial District in the National Assembly (NASS). We see him as a brilliant and consensus builder," they stated in a rhythmic expression, synchronized, like in a recital.
The All Progressive Congress (APC) chieftain from the Osun East Senatorial District of the state was standing at a stone's throw away, sort of a negligible distance but sure attentive to certain ineligible matters. And the mass enthusiastic women bared the mind.
And they said further: "we are convinced that Ogungbangbe has a unique vision for empowering women and our youths to lift our District to the top. We are happy, he's not foul mouthed. He speaks with integrity and does not fall into any careless habit of inaccuracy. He does not speak in the disorderly dynamics of politics, and he avoids the oft-negative or deceitful tone, found in politics."
Ogungbangbe, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CITA ENERGIES and the principal host to last weekend's burial and outing service in honour and celebration of the life and times of his now rested auntie, has a clear plan and blueprint for the development of women and youths.
The scion of the Ajagbusi Ekun Royal Dynasty of Iloko Ijesa in Oriade local government council area of Osun has glaring nerves and evident passion to seize moments, and capitalize on opportunities and responsibilities, concerning women and youths of his Osun East Senatorial District.
At the core of Prince Ogungbangbe's vision is a lasting commitment to guiding political empowerment for the Ife/Ijesa women and overall development of the constituents of his Senatorial District. It was later disclosed that a significant percentage of the women who made the bold declaration for his bid to pick the Osun East Senatorial ticket, came from Ifeland for funeral events in Iloko-Ijesa at the weekend; and the rest from the Ijesa axis of Osun.
Mama Juliana Ibidun Ajewole - Ifaloye was a devout Christian of the Christ Apostolic Church denomination, and known for her tolerance, perseverance, patience, and endurance in a polygamous household.
Convincingly, she demonstrated all her life, remarkable courage, strength, faith, and fervency, supportive of her husband. With her husband, the departed soul was the spring of human continuity, survived by children and grandchildren.
