The urbane businessman and Chairman, Chief Executive Officer CEO of CITA ENERGIES noted, the intention of Tinubu to deliver 'a better, just and prosperous Nigeria for all' is the president's gestures of goodwill and optimism, reflective of the virtues of love, empathy, sacrifice and courage as exemplified by Jesus Christ, and birthed in Easter celebration.
Continuing in his Easter felicitations with Christians and non- Christians alike, the All Progressive Congress (APC) chieftain from Osun East Senatorial District of the state, commended the positive relationships between public holidays and their impact on consumers' spending, benefiting the nation's economy.
Hear him: "The people who travel to different places for celebration during the Easter public holiday, spend more money on food, drinks, and entertainment, other festive treats with families, relations and loved ones. They gather at homes, shopping malls, eateries, and recreation centers, joined by the chummy others, boosting commerce and transportation. The festive spending in local and foreign currencies significantly contributes to the nation's economic growth."
Ogungbangbe charged the Easter holidaymakers, particularly, workers in the public and private sectors of the economy to get recommitted to increase productivity, stating that "the holiday break has rejuvenated, refreshed them for quality service delivery which will ultimately benefit the nation."
Still on Mr President's intention to handover prosperity to the nation, Ogungbangbe who's also the Chairman of Aviation Fuel Marketers Association of Nigeria (AFMAN), opined that "the president seeks to further beef up the nation's economy, free from constraints and move the economy in the desired direction of continued recovery to build an inclusive economy and cause appreciable socio-economic and political stability."
Dr Ogungbangbe, PhD, called for continuous support for Mr. President, while wishing all happy Easter celebration.
