NHRC Osun Visit to Osogbo Grammar School on December 5, 2024, for Sensitization on Eliminating Violence Against Women and Girls
On the morning of December 5, 2024, the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), under the leadership of Mrs. Nneka Anigbo, the Osun State Coordinator, visited Osogbo Grammar School in continuation of efforts to eliminate violence against women and girls.
The NHRC team was warmly received by the Vice Principal Mrs M.O. Aremo, who, along with the school’s staff and students, welcomed the commission and participated in the sensitization session.
During the visit, the commission highlighted the importance of eliminating violence against women and girls, emphasizing the rights of the child. The students were educated on their rights and responsibilities.
The session aimed to instill in the school community a strong commitment to promoting respect, safety, and equality for all, especially within the context of the rights of women and girls.
