Of the notable icons, Alhaji Shuaib Afolabi Oyedokun stands out, distinguished, as a towering figure in the nation's political evolution, who today gracefully marks his 90th birthday.
For remarkable decades out of nine, Alhaji Oyedokun has been walking the corridors of power, shaped political discourse and upheld the tenets of democracy with rock-solid resolve. His life’s journey is a chronicle of times, legacy of wisdom, patriotism and, unparalleled contributions to the growth of Nigeria.
Today, the air is thick with admiration and the pages of history turn with reverence, as Alhaji Shuaib Afolabi Oyedokun, a political colossus and veteran, clocks 90 years. For a man whose life has been intricately woven into the very fabric of Nigeria’s political evolution, this birth milestone is not just a celebration of longevity, it is a dedication to an extraordinary legacy of leadership, resilience and persistent service to democracy.
Joining in this momentous celebrations, Thomas Olaleye Ogungbangbe Ph.D, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CITA ENERGIES, has lavished praises on the nonagenarian, describing him as one of Nigeria’s most formidable political architects and determined pillar of democratic governance.
