Rt. Hon. Nike Omoworare, distinguished, value driven- Ogungbangbe, on birthday

A legislative luminary in the annals of the Osun State politics and governance, this individual, a prominent and influential leader, distinguished by a unique combination of thoughts, attitudes and values, made exceptionally significant contributions to effective lawmaking and strong development policies.

She was elected a representative of Ife Central LGA in the state House of Assembly on the ticket of Social Democratic Party (SDP) in 1991. And her appointment to a traditionally male-dominated power office of the Deputy Speaker broke the patriarchal stereotypes and societal biases, and invigorated generations of women of distinctive characters to pursue carriers in politics and public service. 

Dr Thomas Olaleye Ogungbangbe, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) CITA ENERGIES, stated this, ostensibly toasting to the 63rd birthday anniversary of the Rt.Hon. Nike Omoworare, described as value driven lawmaker, well known for constructive legislation, demonstrative care and kindness in community support, and advocacy for women's, girls' betterment, still inspiring others to follow in her footsteps.

He recalled that Omoworare exhibited strength and bravery, _extraordinaire,_ unapologetic in her commitment to parliamentary process that astoundingly beefed up the integrity and effectiveness of the legislative process of her time, considered essential to the continuity and stability of democratic principles and good governance.

The All Progressive Congress (APC) stawart from Osun East Senatorial District of the state added that "every keen observer of the state parliament around the time could today, attest to her contributions to the smooth functioning of the legislature. Her inputs made the debates, discussions and decisions in the hallowed chamber, fair and orderly," until the third republic was terminated abruptly by military intransigence.

Prince Ogungbangbe, the scion of the Ajagbusi Ekun Royal Dynasty of Iloko Ijesa in Oriade local government council area of Osun, wishes the _birthday girl,_ amazing years ahead, filled with prosperous adventures and celebrations.
