Ogungbangbe Celebrates Sooko Adewoyin at 85, Described As Advocate Of Party Unity And Public Interest

The democratic checks and balances in the Osun State All Progressive Congress (APC) opposition to the government party, holding the party accountable to the governed are a result of the continued stronger presence of a seasoned politician, His Excellence Sooko Adeleke Adewoyin who has consistently advocated for effective unity and collective opposition to promote public interest and ensure that government is accountable to the people.

Dr Thomas Olaleye Ogungbangbe stated this on the birth anniversary of Sooko Adewoyin, described as a former parliamentarian, local government council chairman, and deputy governor of Osun who has earned widespread respect and admiration for his exceptional leadership, vision and commitment to the well-being of the people and his progressive party.

The APC chieftain from Osun East Senatorial District of the state attributed the party's highly formidable challenges, counterbalancing governance in the state, to the robust guidance being offered by the well experienced political leader, now turns 85, whose legacy of leadership and excellence has continually remained in place, ultimately influencing the direction of the party in progressive opposition, and party development.

The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CITA ENERGIES said, "by nurturing the inner workings of APC in the state, Baba Sooko Adewoyin fosters the party's trust and confidence, stability and credibility, unity and progress, and promotes a shared sense of purpose, ensuring the sustainability and viability of the party in the state."

The scion of the Ajagbusi Ekun Royal Dynasty of Iloko Ijesa in Oriade local government council area of the state added that the Osun APC, united, strong and strategic as Sooko Adewoyin is wont, demonstrating collaboration and goodwill for positive change and party building, is bound to landslide victory in the next round of polls in the state.

The Sooko Adewoyin valuable insights, knowledge and expertise gained from focus on public services in politics, local government, and legislation as a lawmaker of Ife Central state constituency, had caused meaningful societal change, improved people's lives, and propelled progress that long inspired others to follow suit. 

The experiences of the distinguished public servant, legendary leader of the party, esteemed community leader, and elder statesman, which he shares every now and then with the emerging political leaders have equipped the beneficiary to navigate politics and ensure continuity and stability of public governance across levels, even as "his valuable guidance is a substantial and meaningful contribution to democratic renewals, still impacting perspectives and ideas on the nation's politics, society and advancement," Prince Ogungbangbe recounted.
