Ogungbangbe Declares Ambition For Senate... all teamed up in solidarity for the race

Dr Thomas Olaleye Ogungbangbe has pledged to go groundbreaking by representational interaction, engaging with his All Progressive Congress (APC), party stakeholders, other germane partners, and constituents in legislative thinking and processes.

Ogungbangbe, chieftain of the party from Osun East Senatorial District, made the commitment at the declaration of his intention to run for the next general elections into the National Assembly (NASS), to represent the district. 

At the declaration, the party leaders of the Ijesa North Federal Constituency in the state, had asked Ogungbangbe to forge ahead with his Senate ambition on the assurances of his willingness and readiness to serve and effectively represent the interests and needs of Osun East.

Ogungbangbe, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CITA ENERGIES promised transparency to do a proverbial constituency project worth #5,000 with just #1,000 at hand and not indebted. "Implying that despite the significant difference between the value of the work done and the cash on hand, I 'm not considered to owe anything after the completion of the project," he stated, justifying the nature his Senate representation would take.

The support of the party stakeholders to Ogungbangbe, the scion of the Ajagbusi Ekun Owaloko Royal Dynasty of Iloko Ijesa in Oriade local government council area of the state, came after a thorough screening of his political activities, statements, contributions, connections and found competent, satisfied with his increased visibility within the party, and among the generality of the people of Ijesa North Federal Constituency.

Speaking at the event, the legendary Hon. Otunba Emiola Ogunsanya, former leader of the party and arch party stakeholder in the constituency described Ogungbangbe as transformational, influential revered and visionary, having a clear and inspiring vision for both the party and his Senate ambition.

The event, held in Ijeda-Ijesa in Oriade council area, was the formal declaration of Ogungbangbe PhD, to seek the support of the party for the party ticket to contest election into the Senate.

Otunba Jumoke Ogunkeyede (JMK), the Leader of the party in the constituency who has been away, overseas said in a goodwill message: "Ogungbangbe has the potential to effectively lead and represent Osun East Senatorial District. He has a pleasant and agreeable disposition, good nature, building strong relationships and good reputation.

Other party leaders in attendance who spoke, said, Ogungbangbe has highly strong values, trustworthy and reliable, with footprints all over the place.

The declaration was well attended by the party leaders in Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency, and all teamed up in solidarity for the Senate race.
