NHRC Media Parley on “Ojumu Ire” Program, OSBC TV, Osogbo

On the morning of Wednesday, December 4, 2024, the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) participated in a media parley on Ojumu Ire, a widely recognized Yoruba-language program aired on OSBC TV in Osogbo. The NHRC team was led by the Osun State Coordinator, Mrs as part . Nneka Anigbo, while the Principal Legal Officer Mr. Akinsola Idowu represented the commission on Air. 

The session, as part of the ongoing 16 days activism, focused on promoting the Elimination of Violence Against Women and Girls . The NHRC utilized this platform to sensitize the public on the rights of women and girls, emphasizing the need to protect these rights, avoid all forms of abuse, and foster a culture of respect and equity in society.

The commission reiterated its commitment to creating awareness on critical human rights issues and engaging communities across Osun State to eliminate violence and uphold the dignity of all individuals.
