Ogungbangbe Celebrates Sooko Lawal, Described As Efficient, Effective For FG Appointment
By ISAAC OLUSESI
Dr Thomas Olaleye Ogungbangbe has recommended to politicians and routine administrators of the nation's tertiary learning institutions to work cooperatively as both sides are essential components of the functioning federal government and delivery of public services.
To balance the collaboration and have a vivid understanding of the context to best serve the universities and colleges, Ogungbangbe charged the two sides to remain objective on decision making and implementation to achieve institutional goals.
He gave the hint, in- person, on the federal government appointment of Sooko Tajudeen Lawal as the Board Chairman of the Federal College of Agriculture, Ibadan.
He described Lawal who's also the Chairman of the Osun State All Progressive Congress (APC) as more efficient and effective with the ability to build strong interpersonal relationships in the making of decisions that will be beneficial to the health of the College of Agriculture, its students, multiple groups of staffs, and the host physical environment.
The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CITA ENERGIES heartily extended felicitations to Lawal and prayed him to 'greater wisdom from above.'
Continuing, Dr Ogungbangbe said, "I wholeheartedly congratulate Sooko Lawal on his federal government's appointment, recognizing his exceptional efficiency and effectiveness. As a dedicated Osun APC Chairman and state party leader, Sooko will bring his invaluable experiences and skills to his new role. I'm sure, his commitment to delivering results will earn him a wider spread of recognition."
Prince Ogungbangbe, the APC chieftain from Osun East Senatorial District of the state, noted that generally, Governing Councils and Boards of the government institutions that provide education beyond secondary schools, make decisions that shape the citadels of learning, and the operational administrators are responsible for the implementation of the decisions.
He however, asked the two sides to have a mastery of the details of their distinct role to ensure the university or college is served, achieving statutory goals or intended results that guarantee the continued functioning of the government.
